Maple Expands Product Lines with New Open Platform CE Touchscreen Computer

(Everett, WA) -- Maple Systems has released a new line of products - the affordable Ivory Series open platform CE touchscreen computers.

"The addition of an open platform CE computer to our product mix means that no matter what our customers need, we have an affordable solution to fill that need," says Sam Schuy, VP of Sales and Engineering at Maple Systems.

The Ivory Series comes with a host of hardware features that allow HMI users to experience a whole new level of operator interface computing.  Significant features include easy Internet and network access with 10BaseT Ethernet, device-ready USB ports, compact flash port and RS-232 and RS-485 compatible COM ports.  The Ivory Series is built on the same platform as Maple Systems' Silver Series touchscreen HMIs, giving it a small footprint and a unique, fanless cooling system that makes it ultra-quiet.

Because it can be programmed using any Windows CE compatible HMI configuration software, the Ivory Series is extremely versatile.  Pre-made programming software can be used - Maple recommends Indusoft - or users can create and run their own HMI programs.

Affordability is also a key feature, with pricing starting at just $739 for a 6", 256 color STN touchscreen computer.
