New TFT Display on 6" WinCE Touchscreen Computer for Just $739

(Everett, WA) -- Maple Systems has added a 6" TFT Windows CE touchscreen computer to their popular Ivory Series, the HMI606T. This display replaces the HMI606C - a 256-color STN display. Although the new display has a vivid TFT touchscreen and 65K colors, the new HMI606T will be the same low price as its predecessor - just $739.

With 320 x 234 pixel resolution and 65,536 colors, the vivid TFT display gives users an exceptionally sharp and clear display with a wide viewing angle.

Like the rest of the Ivory Series, the HMI606T comes with a host of hardware features that allow HMI users to experience a whole new level of operator interface computing.  Significant features include easy Internet and network access with 10BaseT Ethernet, two device-ready USB ports, compact flash port and RS-232 and RS-485 compatible COM ports.  The HMI606T is built on the same platform as Maple Systems' Silver Series 6" HMI520T, giving it a small footprint and a unique, fanless cooling system that makes it ultra-quiet.

Because it can be programmed using any Windows CE compatible HMI configuration software, all Ivory Series computers are extremely versatile.  Pre-made programming software can be used - Maple recommends WebStudio - or users can create and run their own HMI programs.

Affordability is also a key feature, with pricing for the HMI606T at a low $739.
