The MAP Family alphanumeric OITs offer direct serial communication to the most popular PLCs. These industrial interfaces are capable of storing and displaying up to 500, one-line, 40-character messages. Each message is designated to display on either line 1 or line 2. One benefit of this line-based operation is that each display line can be used for a different purpose. For example, each line can monitor a different part of the control system or one line can display error messages while the other line monitors the system.
