I’m seeing errors relating to System Libraries, DLL files, or System Modules that failed to load in Windows® on my OMI or Industrial PC.

Use the System File Check (SFC) utility to scan for and attempt to repair any errors relating to Windows® System Files, DLL files, and System Modules.

Instructions:

  1. Start the Command Prompt (CMD) as an Administrator: Hit the Windows® Key, type "cmd", right-click Command Prompt, and select Run as administrator. (Alternatively, hit Windows® Key + R, type "cmd", and hit CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER.)

  2. Type sfc /scannow and hit Enter. Allow the utility to run.
NOTE: This may take a long time to complete. -- If SFC detects and is unable to perform an online repair of any corrupted files, these files will be logged to: :\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log.

If running sfc /scannow does not resolve the issues you've observed on the unit, please run our Maple Systems Industrial PC Diagnostic Script to scan for potential issues relating to disk drives, hardware components, or recent system events.
