Notes on Configuring Thermocouples for the HMC3000 series IO Modules.
Tags: FAQ I/O Modules
The analog inputs can be configured for Type J or K only, with two config. Values for each for displaying the read value in C or F temp scale.

These values can be loaded into the Analog Input Configuration Registers MWnn60-MWnn63, where “nn” is the slot number and “60-63” designates the config register for the channel.

The analog input registers will not contain the “raw” input values, but will instead contain the actual temperature value in C or F multiplied by 10.

For example, 25.4 degrees C will display as “254” in the AI register.
