The screen on my OMI or Industrial PC is blank or black; the system powers on but I can't see anything on the display.

There could be several reasons why your Industrial Panel PC (OMI) has a blank screen.

First, verify that the unit is getting power and that the power cord is securely plugged in at all points.

Secondly, restart the OMI or Panel PC by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete, then click the power button located in the bottom corner of the screen and select "Restart".

If this is not possible, unplug the unit from power and plug it back into power cycle the unit.

Finally, try booting into Safe Mode. If you are able to boot into Safe Mode, please run our Maple Systems Industrial PC Diagnostic Script to scan for potential issues relating to disk drives, system files, or recent system events. See Tech Note 1141, "Gathering Diagnostic Data from Industrial PCs" for instructions on running the script.

Send the results (.txt file) to support@maplesystems.com via email along with a brief description of the issue(s) you've observed.

If you cannot boot into Safe Mode or Normal Mode, contact Maple Systems Technical Support to request a Repair or RMA.
