This is the specific purpose of the cMT Gateway devices, but the HMIs and other cMTs can also perform this action in a different way.
In EBPro you can use the Macro feature with the GETDATA() and SETDATA() functions to fetch the data from one tag or address range on one device and write it to the memory on the other. Be sure to check out the “GET/SET FN..” tool in the macro editor for ease of use. The macro should then be set to run periodically while the project is running.
Another option would be to use the Data Transfer objects in EBPro, which accomplishes the same result but can take longer to set up.
